Muffin Grouchy Granny Christmas

Look out bugalugs, grouchy granny coming through!

You all asked, and I can’t believe I left her out. Tbh, I was worried the cold would make her hips hurt, but you insisted!

Introducing Gladys (Muffin) to our outdoor Bluey Christmas decorations and I’m obsessed!πŸ₯°πŸ˜

What you need:

*Ply wood

*Outdoor acrylic paint (can be found at Michael’s,

*Downloaded Muffin file (prints in poster size of 27 inches) right belowπŸ‘‡

*Primer

*Polyurethane

*Black paint pens

Step 1: print out the file I have attached! It’s free and slightly pixelated but it’ll do! Cut it out like puzzle pieces and tape it together.

Step 2: stencil onto wood with a pencil, doing outer layers and cutting off pieces working towards the inside. You could probably use a projector much easier, but this was free and worked for meπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Step 3: trace over all of it with a sharpie or black paint pen. This is crucial or you will lose all your stenciling when you prime.

Step 4: Cut out shape using a jigsaw

Step 5: apply a thin coat of primer to all sides.

Step 6: paintπŸ₯°πŸ˜ My favorite part. I’ll attach colors I used below.

Step 7: second coat of paint. Maybe third if necessary.

step 8: seal with a polyurethane

Step 9: create your yard stake. Ace sells them or you can make your own. My husband glued strips of wood to the back to screw the wooden stakes into!

Paint colors: go to michaels and grab some outdoor acrylic paint! $.50/tube and you will only need one of each color. I used: red, dark green, black, and white. She was actually harder to paint than bluey and Bingo because of the various shades of gray she has! I never realized until painting.
