Lenny Lamb Standard Size Buckle Onbuhimo in LittleLove Haze

I recently just got a lot of interest into onbuhimos. Onbuhimos are a little bit like a soft-structured carrier minus the waistband and your kiddo is worn up much higher on your back. No waist band makes it easier for expectant mothers to wear. The simplicity of the onbuhimo is super appealing as well. Less buckles seem to be less hassle and are easier for beginners to not feel intimidated. Plus, they typically fold up much smaller than other carriers making it easy for travel.

Anywho…I wanted to show you this GORGEOUS carrier from Lenny Lamb. Isn’t it absolutely breath taking? It is a standard size onbuhimo in the print Love Haze. I love the intricate details on this carrier! The heart pattern mixed with the ombre colors is absolute LOVE. I mean, I really couldn’t stare at it enough. I don’t think I have seen a carrier as pretty as this one before.

The design, called LittleLove, is jacquard weave and 100% cotton. This type of weave makes for an incredibly soft and floppy carrier. No need to break this carrier in! It’s amazingly soft. The only con to this fabric is that it is more prone to snags and pulls.

That was my hugest con with this carrier. I like to grab my carriers and go. After 2 times of wearing mine, I noticed a few snags on the carrier. I am not gentle with carriers at all and like to use them all the time for everything. In the future, I would definitely keep that into consideration. I will say, the snags are purely cosmetic but it did annoy me. Such a beautiful carrier though!!

Also, my daughter LOVED this carrier. She would actually grab it and bring it to me. Then she would squeal when I would go put her in it. She loved being able to look over my shoulder and snuggle. It really is an ideal carrier for those curious kiddos!

The price is actually super reasonable. The standard buckle onbuhimo will run you about $100 from Lenny’s website. You can find it here. Shipping is an extra $25ish depending on where you are at. I think that’s reasonable for the gorgeous carrier you are getting! I love the look of woven carriers. I can’t get enough of them!

Onbuhimos are recommended for littles that can sit up unassisted. Their onbuhimo comes in two sizes: Standard and Toddler. It has straps and a panel that can be adjusted, making it universal!

One of my favorite things is that it has a hood. It’s perfect to provide shade, support their head, and help them catch some sleep. The carrier can also be worn on your front! Who knew?!

Here is a picture of the standard size measurements. They don’t provide exact sizing guide (like weight and age) so this is the best way to determine the right fit for your little one.

I will say, it’s not my favorite carrier compared to some of my others. I truly do believe that baby carriers are like jeans. You need to try on some different styles and brands to find your perfect fit. This wasn’t the perfect fit for me, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be for you! I can definitely appreciate the designs, quality, and price still! I also will be looking into trying one of their SSCs in the future. 🙂

It’s a gorgeous carrier. The quality is amazing (minus the snagging). The ease of use is fantastic. I think it’s worth looking into!!
