Empty Tomb Rolls Recipe Card

Symbolism:

Marshmallow: Jesus’ body. Pure, white, sinless.

Melted butter: Oils of embalming

Cinnamon & Sugar Mix: Spices used to anoit Christ’s body

Crescent roll: The tomb which held his body. After 3 days, it was empty. He is Risen!

Ingredients:

1 can crescent rolls

8 large marshmallows

1/4 c sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 c melted butter

Instructions:

Preheat over to 375 degrees. Spray muffin pan or use muffin liners. In a small bowl mix together cinnamon and sugar. Unroll crescent rolls and separate them. Dip marshmallows in the butter and then roll in cinnamon sugar. Place marshmallows on the crescent roll and roll together completely closed. If you’d like, roll in butter again and dip in cinnamon sugar. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and let the kids open the roll. The marshmallow is gone! Just like our Savior!
