Bentology Bento Kit- Making Packing Lunch Easier (&GIVEAWAY)

We absolutely love our Bento Kit and so does little miss’ daycare teacher. She  (just as myself) loves that it allows for variety with her lunch! My daughter is 16 months old and hasn’t always been a picky eater but has slowly gotten pickier. By having our Bento Kit, I have been able to create lunches with multiple different foods in hopes that something will catch her eye.

I also know that my daughter tends to eat more fruits than veggies. I have always struggled with coming up with recipes but I love that my Bento Kit makes me more conscientious of portions of food. I always strive to have some sort of fruit, protein, snack, and grains. I am still working on coming up with more toddler-friendly veggie options-so I am ALL ears if you have suggestions! 😉

To be quite honest, this is perfect for me as much as it is my daughter. It helps me think twice about portion control. Also, aren’t these designs gorg?! From emojis, to flamingos, to owls, and solid colors, their designs are adorable and fashionable for children and adults alike! I am all about unique designs and people being able to express themselves (yes, I know it’s just a lunch box but still. I love it. :))

I had no idea all of the things I could find on their site as well. There are so many amazing blogs and meal ideas. If you are like me and are STRUGGLING for daily meals for your toddler or understanding portion control: this site is heaven. It’s like pinterest for just the things I have been looking for but never could find! I can’t tell you how many times I have searched “toddler healthy meals” and have gotten barely any results. I am so glad I came across their site!

Exactly the kind of thing I need. It’s motivated me to try more things! I was really feeling discouraged and too be honest, I felt guilty and like I was failing.  I felt like I needed to make better, healthier meals for my daughter than I have been but wasn’t sure where to start.

So here is a breakdown of my pros & cons of this product. Fair warning: the pros heavily outweigh the cons!

Pros: 

*Encourages portion control & variety

*Price: budget-friendly ($20ish ball park) 

*Easy to carry with a handle

*Food doesn’t move around during travel (super good if your kid refuses to eat anything that has touched something else!) 

*Encourages creativity (think cute bear sandwiches, smiley face pancakes, etc… (bentology.com has some adorable ideas and blog posts!) 

*Outer container securely holds together the smaller inner containers. The inner containers securely hold the food without leaking or crossing. There is even a spot for utensils! 

*Made in U.S.A

*Top Rack Dishwasher Safe, Microwave Safe, & BPA Free!

*Eco-Friendly: Made out of recycled materials.

CONS:

*Price may seem high if you think that’s too much for a sustainable lunch box. 

* I use mine daily for my daughter which means all of the pieces need to be cleaned each evening. It’s an extra chore but not a big deal to me. It is worth noting though! 

Overall, I am loving this product. I am super pumped to continue looking into healthy meal choices and being creative with my daughter’s lunch. I wish you the best and hope you enjoy this as much as I do!!
