Haakaa Thermal Straw Bottle

We just got our Haakaa Thermal Straw Bottle in the mail yesterday and I just had to share pictures with it. My daughter won’t set it down! She loves it soo much! She went straight from breastfeeding to drinking from a regular cup or a cup with a straw. She has always been Miss Independent and really wanted to be a big girl. We never really had to use sippy cups or transition from a bottle. With that said, I had to see about trying their thermal straw bottle so she can quit hogging mommy’s cups and have one of her own.

Now, I’m the one a little jealous and I want her bottle. 😛

I love that it’s designed to be thermal. Those are my favorites! It keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. It comes in handy a lot for keeping her milk cold. She has begun the self-weaning process on her own (insert super super sad face) so I have been needing to be on it about giving her whole milk so she is getting enough each day. It’s amazing to me how quick milk becomes warm. Her bottle is perfect for keeping her milk cold as she plays so the milk lasts longer! I also love sending this with her to daycare so the teacher doesn’t have to constantly worry about putting her milk in the fridge.

The thermal bottle is made out of food grade stainless steel which is PERFECT for our little ones! The stainless steel is designed to be unbreakable and naturally is bacteria resistant. The thermal bottle is able to keep your little’s drinks or formula warm or cold for 6 or more hours. That’s amazing and makes my life soooo much easiers. Whether it’s daycare, zoo trips, or play dates, I don’t have to worry about dealing with her milk!

Another feature that I totally love is the easy-grip handles for her. She is all about being independent so while she doesn’t need the handles, it builds her confidence as she is able to hold the cup much easier all by herself! There is even a wrist strap for on-the-go carrying. 🙂 They truly thought of it all!

She loves the straw because she sees adults use them. I love that the straw is a soft, silicone material. I don’t have to worry about her getting hurt on it. It’s also not able to be pulled out to make it longer so you don’t have to fear that your little will poke their throat with it.

They also make replacement straws, bottle cleaning brushes, and accessories to make the bottle into a baby bottle or toddler sippy cup. It fits in most cup holders; however, the easy-grip handles may have to be taken of to do so because of they way it sits depending on the cup holder.

I totally love the design. The color is a beautiful, vibrant pink. It has some cute designs on the pink part of the bottle where there’s cows, stars, and moons!

• Clean after each use. We recommend to hand wash your bottle (although dishwasher safe) with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• DO NOT MICROWAVE.
• No bleach based agents.
• Caution: Check bottle and straw condition regularly – replace if product shows signs of damage. This item is not a teether or designed for children teething to chew. Left to chew children may chew through silicone straw. Not recommended for children under 12 months.
