1. I found clipart of the Bluey & Bingo Grannies clipart and printed in poster size by saving as a PDF so they each measure at 3.5 ft tall and will fit side by side on a sheet of plywood!

2. Cut out the stencil, think of it like a giant adult puzzle 😅 it’s not perfect and a little pixel-y but hey, it’s free and gets the job done! Once pieced together, trace it out with a pencil and deconstruct it until you’ve traced every detail onto the plywood. Once I was confident with the drawing, I went over it with a black sharpie. I free-handed the candy cane

3. Use a jigsaw, or enlist your sweet hubby to cut out the figure for you 😅

4. Prime the wood. I primed right over the sharpie and you can still see your drawing, just don’t go too thick. I primed all sides to really seal the wood in good since it’ll be exposed to all the winter weather.

5. Paint!! I will list exact colors I used below.

6. Seal with polyurethane

7. Glue strips of wood to the back and then screw wooden yard stakes into them. You can build them/cut them yourself or Ace sells wooden yard stakes.

Janet & Rita Paint Colors

Rita aka Bluey: Navy, pale blue, bright blue, white, black, antique white, purple, green. For the salmon color on the blanket I mixed red, orange, and antique white.

Janet aka Bingo: peach, antique white, brown, white, black, grape taffy, purple, red and white. I went to ace to get the right shade of oranges for Bingo. I ordered one different color in a paint sample for only $3.50. I went with Pennies from Heaven. For the other shade of orange I mixed peach and antique white. 🧡

These are the names of the exact colors I used from Michael’s

If it seems intimidating, don’t let it! You got this. It’s a fun craft and my kids are OBSESSED with it.
