Radio Flyer Tricycle: It doesn’t get much more classic than a Radio Flyer Tricycle. They DSC_0061have been a leading brand in the industry and for good reason! We love how smooth it rides and its durability. Perfect for ages 2-5 years old. My daughter can’t quite pedal but still uses her’s every single day. The price tag is totally doable at just under $40! My daughter’s an amazing sharer…except with this bike. It’s her favorite toy hands-down and worth every penny!

Cuddle + Kind Hand Knit Dolls:  With the holidays comes a good time to remember our DSC_0141blessings and give back. This is the perfect toy as it gives back to children in need. Each doll provides 10 meals to children in need across 66 countries around the world. How cool is that?! Despite their heart for giving, each doll is hand knit, totally soft, and super cuddly. Their dolls are stuffed with hypoallergenic fill and are safe and nontoxic. Their dolls come in two sizes: 13″ ($50) and 20″($70). While the price tag may seem steep, they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for some reason your child doesn’t like it, no problem, just return it with no hassle, though I highly doubt that will happen!

ALEX Toys Little Hands Button Art: Love art but hate the mess? Look no further! ALEX DSC_0291Toys has a really neat button art set that comes with a tray to place the photos on for creating masterpieces and also doubles as a storage container. Work on your child’s hand-eye coordination, color matching skills, fine motor skills all while encouraging creativity. This is a perfect toy to play independently or with others.

Step 2 Flip & Doodle Easel Desk & Stool:  We love crafting in our house, so a nice art d50d4a85c0482f294856beea150f6436center was definitely a must-have. We came across this one online ($50) and couldn’t resist its versatility. With six storage bins underneath, storage on the back for coloring books/paper, and spots for markers, it’s a dream come true for any art enthusiast. On top of all of that, it can easily change from an art easel to a desk in seconds. My favorite thing about having this now is that it makes it easy for buying gifts later. Think coloring books, paint, brushes, paper, etc… It makes for affordable gift ideas that will engage your little artist to create many more masterpieces!

Usborne Lift-The-Flap Colors Book: Who says learning can’t be fun? This book is one of DSC_0130our favorites in our personal library right now. Each page is full of beautiful illustrations, bright colors, new vocabulary, and activities. We love reading in our house but we also love hands-on learning too. This book is the perfect middle ground. We can play a matching game, play peek-a-boo, or learn about mixing colors all within the pages of one book. With durable flaps and an amazing return policy, you don’t have to fret about your little one playing with this book. The price tag for their Lift-The-Flap series runs at just under $15!

DSC_0191Step 2 Modern Cook Kitchen Set: There are a few toys that are the big staple toys for children. A play kitchen is one of those. A kitchen is a toy that your child will play with for many years and multiple children can play with it over those years. We came across this one and loved the unique color scheme and the price tag at under $50. This kitchen set comes loaded with utensils, plates, cups, a recycling bin, an electric light-up burner, knobs that click when turned, and some hooks for their utensils or cups.

DSC_0310Mega Bloks: Another staple that doesn’t really need a review but deserves mentioning: Mega Bloks. Perfect for open-ended play, spiking creativity, and working on hand-eye coordination. Mega Bloks will provide hours of fun, building, and learning. These are great for little hands and are easy for them to put together and take apart. They are especially good for crashing, or so my toddler says.

DSC_0867Safari Ltd. Toys That Teach:  Looking for some pretty rad stocking stuffers? Look no further! Each toy is hand-painted, detail-oriented, and incredibly lifelike. You can’t go wrong with any of their figurines. Prices vary, but you can find some pieces for $2! Their toys are perfect for various ages and are geared towards teaching your child through play.
