Softbums Omni AI2/Pocket Diaper
The Omni Cloth Diaper by Softbums has easily made it’s way to my top favorite cloth diapers. I had never seen a sizing system like Softbums before but I love it. Instead of dealing with a bunch of snaps, they have a drawstring toggle used for rise sizing instead! This size toggle is amazing because it guarantees a true fit meaning no leaks. One of the big things people tell you when you cloth diaper are some of the brands that just didn’t really fit their little ones for one reason or another. I wish I had know about these back then because I could have avoided all that.
The Omni diaper is an AI2 or a Pocket Diaper. A lot of people are super anti-pocket diapers. This is great because it’s minimal work, cheaper that most AIOS, and you don’t haveto stuff it. The pods just snap right in. You can choose any pods you would like. Stuff them or don’t, it’s totally up to you.
These fit for 0-36 month olds thanks to their sizing system but fits best for babies 4 months and up. They are made in the U.S.A. This cloth diaper is super super soft and really absorbant. The fit is perfect and it’s not crazy bulky. I love the choices of prints! There are a variety of solids OR prints that are super fun to choose from.
They are a little bit on the pricey side for just under $22 for the diaper. Unfortunately, the pods are sold seperately. If you were to just buy one of the large dry touch pods it’s another $5. That’s roughly $27/diaper. This would definitely be worth it if they would fit a newborn! I will have to try it out and see. If so, I would definitely stock up on some of these.
I love the concept and would be super curious to see these on a newborn. But for now, I am loving the print and absorbancy they offer. I would recommend giving these a shot!
