The Breastfeeding Bottle

It was really difficult before to get my daughter to take a bottle. Now she is a year old, and prefers sippy cups but she does love this bottle! It’s like a boob-to-go. I will say that it drips when tipped upside down so I wouldn’t recommend just letting your kiddo carry it around unless you want to clean up spilled milk (that was me the first time).

Not only is the bottle breast-shaped, it is also made to provide the warmth similar to what they would feel while nursing. Heated milk or formula actually warms the silicone material to create the natural feeling they would get if nursing.

This is also great for babies known to have colic and constatly spit up!  The bottom vent allows for a constant flow of air without allowing for new air from the hole in the nipple. Also the contant air flow means that the nipple won’t collapse on baby resulting in them sucking in air. The breastfeeding bottle also helps eliminate bubbles in the milk that take away some of the important vitamins in babies milk!

It is super easy to clean. It took me a little while to figure out how to put it all together but after I figured it out, it was easy peasy. Taking it apart to clean was no problem.  It doesn’t require a bottle brush to clean. You simply take off the bottom part and can hand-wash or throw it into the top rack of a dishwasher.

The Breastfeeding Bottle is made in Canada. The materials of the bottle are BPA-free and are really strong. They are very resistant to breaking and cracking. Overall, I was super impressed with it. It’s great for newborns-toddlers.

My little has been sick and has been really needy today. I simply put some milk in the bottle and she is comforted. I think the familiar feel of the breast is what is helping calm her down.
