Holiday Gift Guide: Infant Edition!

20181024_152309_0001I know there are some of you that are thinking, “it’s an infant. it doesn’t need anything.” And if that is you, bah humbug. Lol. I know he doesn’t need anything and quite frankly he won’t remember in the slightest. But his big sister might notice Santa came for her and not him. Plus, I think it’s super fun to shop for babies. I just love gift giving!!

Here’s a little compilation of our FAVORITE baby items that should be on your holiday list!

DSC_0513Kleynimals Keys: Add a little bit more jingle to your jingle bells with the Kleynimals Keys! A beautiful keepsake that can be passed down to your grandchildren and well-loved by your babies. I love the beautiful design and that they are non-toxic and aren’t sharp! Get your’s for $35, a steal of a deal for a well-made toy for your babe!

IMG_20181218_215951_846Lovevery Play Gym: By far our most used baby item this go around. He loves the crinkle and squeak toys. He rolls around on this thing for literally hours a week! The bright colors are fun and my personal favorite are the high contrast cards. It’s a great toy for the many different stages in your little one’s first year. And honestly, my 2 year old loves to build a fort with it. Win, win! You can find it here for $140

PipSquigz Rattle Set: A very simple but super entertaining toy. With bright colors and fun sounds, your little will be very entertained. They have suction cups on the ends making it perfect to stick to flat surfaces like high chairs, strollers, and bath tubs. My personal favorite is having him sit at his highchair and setting these up. It decreases the amount of times I have to pick toys up off the floor while we try to eat dinner. Plus, they make an amazing teether that is super easy to clean! These are really affordable at several places for just under $20!

IMG_20181218_221650_297Usborne Fold Out Books: I set one out every time I put him down on his play gym. He loves rolling around looking at them! These are the perfect tummy time book to look at. They are amazing and Usborne even has a great return policy. For example, my dog chewed our’s up and they are offering me a 50% reduction on the purchase of the book again!  Their fold out books are under $8 and worth every penny! Shipping can be pricey but I like to just go in on an order with friends or find them local. 🙂

MatiMati Baby Bandana Bibs: Bandana bibs are my favorite. For both boys and girls! They are just so stinking cute, stylish, and practical. I love this brand. Very soft and absorbent. My drooly babies can last hours in one bib. The patterns are super cute and crazy cheap in my opinion. You can get a pack of 8 on Amazon for under $20!! These also make super cute stocking stuffers, FYI.

PP1568_Marley_Moose_Buddies_1024x1024 (1)Nookums Paci-Plushies: I always thought I wanted my baby to have a WubbaNub but then realized they only took that kind of pacifier. I LOVE that the Nookums comes with a ring to go around any brand pacifier!! I am so excited to have something similar that will work with the only brand pacifier my baby will take. These are only $15 and are sooo soft. There is quite a huge variety on their website and Amazon to find the animal of your choosing! We went with this adorable moose. 🙂

Oball Rattle: I feel silly even putting this on here because it seems so obvious but it needs mentioning in case it skipped your mind. We love our Oball Rattle. Super easy for little ones to grasp. Great as they grow and can learn to roll, throw, and catch. The colors are bright and comes with 3 rattles with colorful beads on it. Super sturdy yet light and safe for little ones. Incredibly budget-friendly for under $5 at Target.

IMG_20181025_111937_306DockATot Deluxe: Gift for baby….or for mom? Totally debatable. Haha. But happy baby=happy mama sooooo there’s that. In seriousness, we love our’s. It gives our little guy the comfort of feeling like he is cradled. It’s the perfect transition from nursing to resting. He has been sleeping through the night for over 3 months (give or take a few nights here and there) and I think a lot of it is due to feeling safe and secure in his dock. The price tag is expensive but worth it in my opinion. These retail for $175 but I highly recommend checking buy sell trade sites or ask around. A lot of people resell once they are finished.

Baby Banana Brush: This is more or less a staple baby item these days and for good reason. The perfect combo between a trainer toothbrush and teether for your little one. Easy to grasp, easy to clean, and soft bristles to practice brushing teeth and soothing gums. Word of caution: there are a lot of copycats out there. I suggest doing your research and going with the legit brand. You can buy your’s here on Amazon for under $8 in pink, blue, or yellow.

75567483_02_1024x1024Itzy Ritzy Teething Mitts and Teethers: There are super cute teethers by one of my favorite brands: Itzy Ritzy. Super high quality, super adorable, and very budget-friendly. Oh….and they are now available at Target (like you needed another reason to go there) 🙂 They each come in a variety of styles and each are super cute. I LOVE our teething mitt because it crinkles and is easy for Finn to use since he is still working on his fine motor skills. It’s like a toy that never drops! These both make some amazing stocking stuffers! You can find them at Target for under $9! My personal favorites are the foxes. 🙂

I hope some of this was helpful to you. I want to personally wish you a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Make wonderful memories!!

With Love,

Ashley
