Step2 Flip & Doodle Easel Desk & Stool
My 17 month old LOVES all things art. Markers, paint, pens, crayons, stickers, you name it and she loves it. For Christmas we decided to look into giving her an art easel. I was so torn on getting her a typical wooden easel but once I saw this desk/easel combo for the price, I was sold! We got our’s on sale from Kohls. I believe after our 30% off and the sale that was already going on, we got it for $46!!! The original price is $89.99 but if you know Kohls, you know you don’t buy anything full price. 😉
I was super sold on this when I realized how much storage it had! It comes with 6 different bins to hold your little’s art supplies. They are easy to reach for your little one so they won’t need you everytime they go to it. When you fold it down into the desk option, there is a bunch of little slots for markers as well as some more storage spaces! The back has a few spots that I love to store coloring books, art pads, and magic water boards. This thing is jam packed for options to stay organized!!
My daughter is like most toddlers and tends to get crayon marks all over her art easel but I have found it’s super easy to clean up with either a microfiber cloth or magic erase if that it something you worry about!
This easel combo comes with a stool as well for your little artist. Perfect if they plan to use this as a desk regularly. The stool is great; however, it’s a little too dangerous for our 18 month old who still is learning chairs so we just temporarily moved it to the back room. 😉 It’s still perfect for her though with the height being great for standing and painting/coloring.
The dry erase board is both magnetic and easy to wipe clean. While their is not a place to hold an entire roll of paper, there is a clip that holds paper on the easel. It works with 8.5″ x 11″ paper or 11″ x 17″ paper. I actually prefer this over paper rolls because my daughter liked to just pull the roll of paper and I like the quick option to access the dry erase board or flip it down into a desk.
Overall, I love our art easel. I know it will continue to be a perfect fit for our family and she will continue to use it as she grows older. I can already picture my future 5 year old doing homework at her desk. 😉 For the price and versatility, you can’t find a better art easel. I highly, highly recommend!
